<p>This video on the Mannetron site, show a step-by-step process for designing and creating a robotic whale.  While the technology behind this project is beyond most trade shows booths, it does show the amazing technology available in animatronics for creating a branded space.<span id="more-54"></span></p>
<p>There is also a Youtube video that shows the installation.  The person taping seems geniunely awed.  For creating a &#8216;wow&#8217; effect you could get much better than this.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s also interesting is the accuracy with which Mannetron animated the whale.  Simulating real life in robotics seems to be undergoing the same kind of revolution that we&#8217;ve seen in computer graphics in the last decade.  Robotics could be a way of not only wowing an audience but also effectively demonstrating a product or process.</p>
